Winner – Best National Lottery funded Arts Project 2015

We’re over the moon, on cloud nine, happy as Larry to be the best National Lottery funded Arts Project 2015.

Children’s author Julian Clary popped into one of our writing workshops to pass on the good news and sit down with our young writers. It was an inspiring morning and one that really couldn’t have happened without you.

Thank you so much to everyone who voted and made this possible. We are so happy to have such a friendly, creative and inspirational community supporting our young writers.

The award money, £2,000, will go a long way to helping keep our workshops free and the joy of stories open for every child to discover.

What next? Well, we’ll be putting our names in the hat to see who gets to attend the glitzy BBC 1 awards ceremony but more importantly, we’ll be planning how to use this moment to help hundreds of young people.
